Summer of Ludd is a free, public event that encourages people to get off of Big Tech and into Public Space. The event runs Sunday June 28th through Sunday July 5th with participatory programming from 8am every morning until at least 8pm every evening (and sometimes later).
Boxcutter Collective will be offering a workshop on Thursday July 2nd from 1 – 3 in Tompkins Square Park. We will rehearse and teach participants their roles in The Cardboard Pizza Puppet Circus. We will perform some short pieces from our Circus the next day (Friday July 3rd) at 6:30 pm.
Our friends, Bread and Puppet Theater, will host a workshop on Wed July 1st from 1 – 4 and there will be a Bread and Puppet performance on Friday July 3rd at 3pm. Look in your neighborhood to find a Luddite Guidebook or call the Summer of Ludd Hotline at (347) 814-5194 for updates.
