11/9 – Brooklyn Folk Fest

Saturday November 9th at 5pm on the Parish Hall Stage at St Anne’s Church (157 Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights)

We had the read-thru, now join us for the Rock-thru!
We will perform a set with highlights and original music from our new sci-fi musical and puppet spectacle Dimension Zero.
The Brooklyn Folk Festival, hosted by the Fabulous Jalopy Theater, includes so many great performers – so don’t miss it. Get tickets now because no matter how this week goes for the country we will all need some love & care and to be reminded that humans can do good things – like folk festivals, live performance and shared community.

Dimension Zero is the story of an alien who has come to Earth to assess if humans are an asset or a threat to the universe at large. The answer is complicated, but with a gang of new found friends the earthlings challenge the status quo / powers that be and the world is transformed. It is a grand love letter to New York City, an ode to classic sci-fi, rock-n-roll, and a tribute to badass space-adventuring women battling against the madness of unbridled capitalism and giant space monsters everywhere.

Extra special thanks to New York State Council on the Arts for their generous support of this project!
