BOXCUTTER BIO
Boxcutter Collective is a Brooklyn-based puppet company made up of 4 core members: Sam Wilson, Joe Therrien, Jason Hicks, and Tom Cunningham. After meeting while working together at the Bread and Puppet Theater, they decided to join forces in 2016 and wield the power of puppet shows for the forces of good. The election that happened shortly kicked their butts into hyperdrive. Since then they’ve made dozens of shows attempting to respond to the ongoing slew of crises that never seem to end. They are trying to figure out how to continue to do that with the current situation.
