Join us in celebrating the release of songwriter Kyle Morgan’s latest solo LP, Ghost of a Problem. Boxcutter Collective will perform a set and show their new music video – a collaboration with Kyle for Paper Towel Ballad – a song on this new album!
Kyle’s influence range from the classic roots music of the Carter Family and Hank Williams to more modern artists like Thom Yorke and Rufus Wainwright, Kyle sings songs of spiritual longing, struggle and redemption in an earnest tenor voice. There will also be a set by Courtney Bush a poet and filmmaker from Mississippi. She wrote the lyrics to three of the songs on Ghost of a Problem: “Franklin,” “Sprang Break,” and “Anything For You.”
