Right now, National Grid is pushing plans to expand fracked-gas infrastructure into the 2050s—defying the climate law that New York fought for and won. That includes doubling down on the toxic Greenpoint LNG facility in North Brooklyn, where fossil-fuel infrastructure looms over homes, schools, playgrounds, and small businesses.
